Samsung Galaxy M20 and Galaxy 10, the first two phones under the new Samsung M series of smartphones, were officially launched in India a few days back. Both devices are online exclusive and are supposed to go on their first sale later on February 5 via Amazon.in and Samsung India e-Store. While that is still a few days away, the Korean company is already reportedly pushing out the first software update for the duo.

The updates are been reported by those with review units of the new M series, it is apparent buyers will be greeted with the update as soon as you switch on the M10 and M20 for the first time. The update carries firmware version M105FDDU1ASA7 for the Galaxy M10 and firmware version M205FDDU1ASA9 for the Galaxy M20 smartphone.
It’s not a huge update, it weighs in at 64MB, so it’s not a major update. Updates for both devices are loaded with January 2019 security patches which were already part of the previous the firmware.
Both devices have only made it to the hands of reviewers, but sales are expected to start on February 5 in India. You can always check for the update from Settings > Software update if you are not prompted with the update by the time you switch on your unit of the Galaxy M10 or Galaxy M20.
