Samsung’s newest Galaxy M series might be getting a new entrant soon only a few days after the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 went on sale. The next in line on the Galaxy M series is clearly the Galaxy M30, and if the latest certification is anything to go by, the device’s arrival might not be far off.
We got our first look at the Galaxy M30 a few hours ago courtesy of a leaked schematic diagram akin to the one that you’d see in a user manual, and now, the device has been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), suggesting that its official introduction could be happening soon.
While the Galaxy M1O and M20 duo feature LCD display panels, documents revealed by the FCC suggest the Galaxy M30 could come with a Super AMOLED screen ( notice the Always On Display menu in the image below) and a fingerprint reader, going by the screenshots of the Settings menu revealed by FCC certification documents.
Gizchina News of the week
From previous leaks, we know the Galaxy M30 will look very much like the M20, except for a slightly longer and wider profile as well as the inclusion of an additional camera sensor on the back, making a total of three cameras on the flip side of the phone, while the front will retain the single camera sensor said to be a 16MP one with an f/2.0 aperture lens . Based on a previous Geekbench listing, the Galaxy M30 will come with 4GB RAM working with the Exynos 7885 chipset, and much like the M10 and M20 will boot Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box but might get Android Pie update immediately it is launched.
SOC could have been SD675, for better sales.
Maybe it will come in new A series
