Just a few hours ago, Vivo announced the specs, price and availability details of the Vivo V15 Pro smartphone in India with a pop-up selfie camera as well as the fifth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner. For reasons not known to us the company didn’t launch the base VIVO V15 Pro, but that is about to arrive now as the firm is all now set to reveal the device later this month.
Surprisingly, the device will launch first in India and that is happening on February 25, the same day the MWC in Barcelona kicks off officially. The device will launch as a slightly stepped down variant of the VIVO V15 Pro. Notably, the VIVO V15 will retain the signature 32MP pop-up camera as well as the triple rear camera; but now feature a 24-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing lens as oppose to the V15 Pro with 48 MP +8 MP + 5 MP triple rear cameras. With regard to the triple rear cameras, our source hints that the setup on the VIVO V15 Pro works in a similar manner to those of the Pro variant that uses four 12-megapixel images to stitch a 48-megapixel shot.

Notably, the device will eschew the AMOLED panel for an LCD panel, but still of the same 6.39-inch screen size while also dropping the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor for a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
VIVO V15 Specifications
- 6.39-inch Full HD Super LCD FullView Display
- MediaTek Helio P70 chipset
