OPPO T1 with Snapdragon 855 will not sell for 2499 yuan ($372)


A few hours ago, Oppo introduced its first 5G smartphone which of course uses a Snapdragon 855 SoC. However, there were reports that another Oppo smartphone, Oppo T1, with a Snapdragon 855 chip will sell for 2499 yuan ($372). OPPO’s vice president, Shen Yiren, has dismissed this report as rumors and he said that there is no price tag for any of Oppo’s SD855 phones yet. Although some report claims that Oppo T1 doesn’t exist, there is no official confirmation from the company in that regard.

According to speculations, the OPPO T1 will be equipped with a 6.39-inch OLED display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform, coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal memory. In the camera department, this smartphone comes with the recently popularized 48MP sensor as well as other cameras.

According to the information disclosed by Shen Yiren, OPPO will launch the Snapdragon 855 flagship this year, and it may be a new product of the Find X series. At the same time, Shen Yiren confirmed that the Find X series will continue to iterate. It is also worth noting that OPPO will present the OPPO 10x hybrid optical zoom technology at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The technology already has mass production capabilities, and the products released in the first half of this year will be officially mass-produced. Shen Yiren emphasized that the mass production smartphones equipped with OPPO’s 10x hybrid optical zoom technology support dual OIS and its worth looking forward to.
