Xiaomi recently released a 5G mobile phone in Europe, and according to Lei Jun, the company will soon release a 5G mobile phone in China. Nevertheless, the company will have to wait for Chinese carriers to be ready for the 5G network before a 5G phone can be used in China.
At the MWC 2019 conference, Xiaomi officially released its first 5G smartphone, namely the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G. At the time, it was the second commercial 5G smartphone after the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G version maintains the overall design and specifications of the original model, but the processor has been upgraded from Snapdragon 845 to Snapdragon 855.
