More details about the OPPO RENO phone has surfaced just a few hours after Chinese smartphone maker revealed it will be debuting a new series later in April in its Homeland. A new OPPO phone with the model number CPH1917 has cleared the Bluetooth SIG and the Singaporean IMDA, and while t is not clear to us what the marketing name might be, the IMDA document suggests it will be launched under the RENO product line.

Its hard to tell/guess what the appearance could look like at this time, the certifying body, however, says the Reno will come fitted with a 6.4” display with Full HD+ resolution and while that lines up with earlier leaks, the listing, however, goes contrary as the device is listed with the Snapdragon 710 chipset and not the high-end the Snapdragon 855 chipset as earlier rumored. Additionally, the listing reveals the Reno will come with a 48MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear and a single 16MP selfie camera on the front, while it will boot ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
Since the device has scaled through two certification process, it won’t be long before we get official renders of the device, perhaps via TENAA.
