Besides the Galaxy A40 and the A20 that arrived silently last week, it is very much apparent Samsung got a lot of unannounced Galaxy A series devices under its sleeve. The Galaxy A70, and the A60 with triple rear cameras already cleared TENNA, and now an upcoming model has surfaced clearing both the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) as well as Wi-Fi Alliance.
The phone had appeared on Samsungs UK website weeks ago and has now been certified by Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) as well as Wi-Fi Alliance, with one key information to take away – confirms the Galaxy A20e moniker. And while specs appear sparse, the moniker is a key indication the Galaxy A20e will arrive as a watered down version of the Galaxy A20 that is already on sale in Russia with Android 9 on board.
Gizchina News of the week
For the uninitiated, the Galaxy A20 is perhaps one of the most basic of the A series flaunting a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-V display with 720 x 1560 HD+ resolution with the Exynos 7884 SoC under the hood, while it is available only in a single memory configuration with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone gets a dual-rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. An 8-megapixel sensor is available for selfies and the phone is backed by a large 4,000mAh battery.
No definite launch date in sight yet, perhaps the device will launch at the April 10 Galaxy event
