Some new information pertaining to the upcoming Korean Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has surfaced online revealing key aspects of its hardware and curious details about its dimensions.

The Korean Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will be available in two memory tiers 256GB and 512GB. Furthermore, the dimensions and the weight of the phone is slightly different from the global’s variant specs. While the global variant is 162.6 x 77.1 x 7.9 mm and weights in at 198g the Korean variant is said to be a bit heavier at 208g and a bit shorter and thinner at 162.2 x 77.1 x 7.8 mm. Of course, these changes are just marginal, but they worth some speculation.

The Korean variant is said to pack the same generous amount of 4,500mAh battery as listed in the global variant. So if the battery is the same, why the handset will be physically different? Well, apparently Samsung will be shipping this Korean variant with its own Exynos CPU and a non-Qualcomm made 5G modem, that will be presumably be made by the Korean firm. While the rest of the world will get the Qualcomm’s 5G solution, the Korean variant will have a slightly different modem, that may be different and size and form, resulting in a phone with different radios and antennas.
