The long-rumored Motorola One vision may already be on its way to the market if a Google ARCore device list is to be believed. The device preparatory to its official release has in the past weeks received US FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance approval and has now been added to the list of ARCore supported devices, suggesting that it may be launched sooner than expected, while also confirming that the One Vision actually is its marketing name.
While the listing doesn’t reveal anything unusual, it is a signal that the device could launch soon, given that Google only list already announced devices on the list of supported devices.
Gizchina News of the week
In case you aren’t aware, the Motorola One vision has been on the news for over a month now, and is tipped to launch in some specific regions as the Moto P40 — possibly to save confusion with the Huawei P series — and now a few leaked renders have unearthed a few device secrets (via TigerMobiles). As the name suggests, the Motorola One Vision will launch with virtually stock Android on board, so users can be sure of a clean, stock experience that will guarantee updates for at least two years from release.
What is most exciting though isn’t the Android OS, previous leaks suggest the device will get a 6.2-inch display with a punch hole camera cutout in the top left of the IPS LCD panel, while it will be the first of Motorola’s phones to get Samsungs Exynos 9610 chipset rather than the more expected Qualcomm option. We are told it will come in 3GB and 4GB RAM options, while you can get it in up to 128GB storage option.
Interestingly, the device will perhaps be the first of Motorola’s phones to get a 48-megapixel main sensor coupled with a 12-megapixel secondary sensor, though we are not sure if it will deploy the whole 48-megapixel resolution, will capture 12MP photos.
