On April 3rd, OPPO officially announced some details about the upcoming OPPO Reno series. According to the official teaser, the handset will use a panoramic display for a screen to body ratio of 93.1%. Almost as good as the 93.8% StB ratio we more premium OPPO Find X brought to the market.
The OPPO Reno will then sports an ultra-narrow bezel, with left and right sides being just 1.59mm thick, meanwhile the lower bezel will be 3.49mm. That is also very close to OPPO’s Find X (with a thickness of 3.4mm.
The smartphone is suspected to use what the company calls “COP packaging technology” which was first used on the OPPO Find X and is what allows them to bend the display and make the handset look bezel-less.
