Today, Chinese phone maker Vivo announced that the previously launched Vivo S1 is now officially on sale at the price of 2298 Yuan ($340).
The vivo S1 adopts a “zero-screen full-screen” design. Basically meaning there are no notches, whether wide or water drop, and no holes for cameras either. This allows the 6.53 inches big screen to bring a screen to body ratio of 90.95%, meanwhile resolution is 2340×1080.
In order to achieve the full-screen design with no cuts on the display, the Vivo S1 uses a lift-type front camera solution, just like on the NEX. So, when you want to snap a selfie, the camera will automatically pop-up.
According to Vivo, all the components used to light the camera are made with an advanced physical vapor deposition (PVD) coloring technology to create a harmonious beauty whether it is raised or hidden.
