OPPO F11 Pro set to land in Nigeria, to take on Xiaomi

Xiaomi is holding a launch event in about 48hrs in the commercial city of Lagos Nigeria, where it would officially launch its first smartphone in the country, although the firm has yet to reveal the product that will be announced on the said date. While this would be the firm’s first official product in marketed dominated by the likes of Infinix and Tecno mobile, one of its main rival in India and China – OPPO is also setting its eyes on the Nigerian market as it plans to unveil one of its latest smartphone in the market.

The Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has started teasing a launch event for April 26th in Lagos, Nigeria where it will unveil the OPPO F11 Pro. First launched in India at 24,990 rupees (around $356), the OPPO F11 Pro gets a classy gradient colored back that’s reminiscent of last year’s Find X. Its major selling point remains the elevating pop-up selfie camera that emerges from near the middle of the phone as opposed to the pop-up style on other OPPO Phones and the recent OPPO Reno with Shark Fin.

The OPPO F11 Pro flaunts a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ notchless display on the front with the 16 MP selfie camera popping up from the top, and is powered by Helio P70 SoC coupled with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage. It has a 4,000 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support, boots Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 out-of-the-box while there is a twin cam at the back in the form of 48 MP and 5 MP units.
