UMIDIGI recently announced a new series of phones, the UMIDIGI Power for the power-hungry users who also like the slim design. Now the UMIDIGI Power kicks off its global sale on AliExpress at just $139.99.
Both with big 5000mAh big battery, the smartphone competes with Samsung’s mid-range phone Galaxy M20 in other specs but with a much lower price. Is the Samsung Galaxy M20 in trouble? Here’s a quick comparison between the two phones.
Display
Both UMIDIGI Power and Samsung Galaxy M20 feature the similar shaped notch design. UMIDIGI calls it the ‘waterdrop’ while Samsung calls it the ‘Infinity V’. They have the 6.3-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2340×1080).
Performance
UMIDIGI’s phone and Galaxy M20 both pack about 5000mAh battery and they’re both 8.8mm slim. UMIDIGI Power supports 18W fast charging while Galaxy M20 supports 15W charging. About the processor, UMIDIGI Power is powered by 12nm Helio P35 AI processor and Galaxy M20 comes with the 14nm Exynos 7904. With the more advanced 12nm process Helio P35, the UMIDIGI Power has high-efficiency performance with lower power consumption and less heat emission. In terms of memory, you can get 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM in UMIDIGI Power at $140 but in Galaxy M20, you need to pay about $200.
Camera
UMIDIGI’s Power comes with a 16MP primary camera while Galaxy M20’s is 13MP. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera in the UMIDIGI Power while 8MP front camera in Galaxy M20.
System and Connectivity
On the software front, the Power runs on stock Android 9 Pie without ads. While Galaxy M20 runs on Experience 9.5 based on Android 8.1. Both phones get the 3.5mm headphone jack but UMIDIGI Power has NFC for Google pay and bus payment while Galaxy M20 doesn’t. Also, UMIDIGI Power supports global bands while Galaxy M20 just supports local bands.
Price
UMIDIGI Power is now on global sale at $139.99 on AliExpress. It offers a better set of specifications but the price is much lower than Samsung Galaxy M20, which costs about $200 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version.

The hardware looks great on paper this is my first umidigi phone ,umi f1,great hardware powerful battery, myriads of of LTE bands which I love for my country NG, but camera and some bugs is failing this sweet phone
The camera in Umidigi works beter whit another aplication. Umidigi have a realy nice hardware, not so nie soft and a realy poor relationship whit clients. They realy do not understand yet that clients can help the brand worldwide
Yep, I do use open camera but what if a friend ask, eh nigga lend me ur phone I need a portrait, will tell him buddy, use open and not the stock, pls this 200dolls tech ,at least a decent cam will be okay with that very excellent soc (p60), heaven helps those who help themselves, they should try fix their bugs and pay attention to their customers, they have a tract record of great hardware among Chinese OEM but their software is woefull, will always think twice b4 spending my hard earned cash on them
Yes, u talked it right coz they didn’t know, infact aside from honor redmi and xiaomi, they are next in price performance ratio in china,
only if they work whit clients and brand users
