OxygenOS 9.0.5 OTA reaches OnePlus 5 and 5T with April security patches

OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T has received a new software OTA update that includes April 2019 security patches and some other improvements. In case you are part of the beta program you already had the opportunity to “discover” the April patches on your OnePlus 5 and 5T, but if you are on the stable channel know that the rollout has already started and could reach you at any moment. The new features of the new OxygenOS 9.0.5 do not stop at safety improvements, but also include:

    • Fixed issue with parallel apps showing primary account
    • Fixed issues with download pictures in parallel WhatsApp
  • Gaming mode
    • Fixed couldn’t receive third-party apps video call issues

OnePlus

OxygenOS 9.0.5 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T is currently being distributed and will reach all smartphones within a few days. In case you have found a bug you can report it in the OnePlus Community app: the Chinese manufacturer has in fact extended the feedback tool also to the stable channel.
