— HTC (@htc) May 10, 2019
HTC, which stands for “High Tech Computer”, is one of the most popular Android smartphone manufacturers, although in recent years it is facing some financial difficulties and April 2019 was yet another black month for the company, which could abandon the Chinese market.
The company was founded in Taoyuan (Taiwan) in May 1997, but it has started dealing with Android devices since 2009. When the Android system started about a decade ago, HTC was at the hub of Android smartphone development. However, the current situation of HTC has reached a very dangerous point. Recently, feedback from netizens says that HTC’s flagship stores at Jingdong and Tmall are no longer searchable. However, ITHome searched the HTC Jingdong self-operated store and realized that the store is still searchable but all the products are out-of-stock. Considering the recent reports surrounding the company, this is not good news for lovers of the Taiwanese manufacturer.
