Redmi K20

On May 28th, Redmi will release its flagship series, Redmi K20 series, which is the first flagship from the sub-brand of Xiaomi since it got its independence in January 2019. This series has two smartphones, Redmi K20, and K20 Pro. Earlier today, there was a poster which leaked the price of the Redmi K20 Pro. According to the poster, the 6GB RAM + 64 GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models of this smartphone will sell for 2,599 Yuan ($376), 2,799 Yuan ($405), and 2,999 Yuan ($434) respectively. Now, a new offline poster shows that this smartphone is selling for 2,599 Yuan ($376).

However, there are some controversies with the offline poster. The poster did not reveal what variant is going for the price and it did not indicate if its the starting price. The Redmi K20 Pro is a higher model thus both phones can not have the same starting price. The poster also shows that the device will use a SD855 SoC. Well, the K20 will likely use a chip in the SD700 series. It is possible that this poster refers to the Redi K20 Pro.

Gizchina News of the week

In addition, the smartphone uses a “true full-screen” form without a notch, punch-hole, or waterdrop design. It has a display resolution of 2340 x 1080. According to Pan Jiutang, the Redmi K20 will sell for between 2000 yuan ($290) – 4000 yuan ($579). If this smartphone sells for 2599 yuan ($376), would you buy it?

this is too costly compared to the poco f1. 100 dollars more for better screen, pop up and better cameras is too much. value more like 60 or 70 dollars.
