Redmi started by stating why it released a notebook. The company believes that in the future of AIoT strategy, notebooks will be the sub-center of human-computer interaction. For this reason, Redmi hopes to have a high-performance and high-value notebook. The RedmiBook 14 top version with Intel Core i7 processor is priced at 4,999 yuan ($724) while the standard version with a Core i5 processor will sell for 3,999 yuan ($579). Both versions will officially hit the market on June 11.
As good as Xiaomi have become at making phones, they’re still a long way behind Asus when it comes to making laptops and netbooks, etc.
Agreed!
Been an avid proponent of Asus laptops. Had 2 top-of-the-line Sony VAIO’s at some point… then the ASUS N56VZ. Had the MSI Prestige PE60-2QE, but quickly realized it wasn’t as nice as the ASUS. Now I have another ASUS again, the ZenBook Flip 15 UX561UD and it’s just the best. Great value, specs and it actually translates well in practice! Love how silent and cool it stays.
and you post 0 arguments
ASUS is an overpriced brand with unneeded functions like weird displays-in-touchpad, touchscreens etc.
For now ASUS is far behind Huawei in terms of notebooks
Xiaomi is just everything I need, and cheaper, but they are slow lauching their products
But still their pro 15.6 is a top choice for the price except for its weight
All other machines look overpriced or lack good design, have weird connectors etc.
Sadly the built-in software is good to be riddled with ad and spyware, just as Xiaomi’s phones are. However, we can reformat the same. Unsure if the “genuine MS Office” will be a separately downloadable installation from Redmi’s website.
i7 yay (^^,)
MX250 nay (-__-“)
