Chatting to our sources today we discovered that the UMi X2 has secretly gone on sale, but in a previously unannounced Youth version sporting 1GB RAM!
The main issue with the UMi X2, and what is delaying it’s launch is a problem between running the quad-core MT6589 processor and 2GB RAM. We at Gizchina, along with many readers and commenters have wondered why UMi did just launch a 1GB ‘Youth’ version of the X2, and now it seems that they have!
Apparently Antelife have got hold of just 40 x UMi X2 quad-core smartphones with 1GB RAM and are offering them for sale right now. Other than less RAM, the only differences we can see is that this version of the X2 is running Android 4.1 rather than 4.2, and both the white and grey options are available!
We contacted Antelife to see if the news is true and they say it is an have offered Gizchina readers a $7 discount when using this code: saleumix2 which is just as wells as this youth version UMi X2 costs $259.99.
I have concerns regarding the legitimacy of antelife. I’ve seen quite a few people saying that they wont honor their warranty. Can you be certain that they’ll resolve issues if any arise?
1GB RAM i thought they had sort it out the memory issue and launch the 2GB version

yes, it is the only model i can think of , which for now has the gg II or at least advertised .
Jiayu G4 and Neo N003 both state they will have gorilla glass 2

i, personally, have used one jiayu phone and it’s quite okay quality, but umi x2 is much more than g4 imho. bigger screen, not much bigger dimensions, much more attractive rear lid and the battery of optimal size opposed to big vs small choice. the curved glass is a big step up. my htc sensation looks much more attractive
what about the THL W8 ?
umi is a scammer. they have collected 300000 $ here in india from people and what have they delivererd….only empty promises, a couple of pictures on their “official” face book page and pnony looking website.

Be careful if you order through AntElife as they say they have in stock but it seems as they have been deceptive about this……….
