We have seen a lot of marketing gimmicks where OEMs claims that their flagships survived a great fall or serious impact. The latest of this claim is coming from iQOO. Today, there were reports that the flagship iQOO was taken to an altitude of 31,000 meters using an industrial hydrogen balloon. The acclaimed temperature at that height is -56°C and the smartphone fell from that height to the ground. According to the report, upon impact, only the screen protector was broken but the display and other parts of this phone remained intact. We guess iQOO is trying to tell the market how tough its maiden phone is but this is coming a bit late since the device was released on March 1st, 2019.
The iQOO smartphone uses a 6.41-inch AMOLED waterdrop screen and it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform. It comes with a 4000 mAh battery capacity which supports 44W ultra-fast flash charging and can fill the entire mobile phone in 45 minutes.

In addition, iQOO is equipped with the sixth generation on-screen fingerprint sensor and it also combines Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 new generation DSP hardware acceleration algorithm to make the unlocking faster and smoother.
More importantly, iQOO uses a multi-layer heat dissipation structure consisting of a 10,000-degree thermal conductivity heat pipe, a curable thermally conductive gel, a high thermal conductivity aluminum alloy frame, and a multi-layer composite graphite heat-dissipating film to achieve a better temperature rise control.
