Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Meitu Custom Edition photos emerge; all devices coming with Game Turbo 2.0

Xiaomi will reveal the Mi CC9 series on July 2. At least three devices are expected, namely the Mi CC9, Mi CC9e and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. All the three devices have been leaking like crazy in the past few days. Today, a new couple of pictures have popped out, via Xiaomishka Twitter account, revealing more about Mi CC9 and the exclusive Meitu Custom Edition.

Both devices are quite similar, one time that the Meitu variant is just a custom edition of the top CC9. Despite this, the version based in the former Selfie centric camera company will bring some exclusive features for the triple-camera setup. The Meitu Edition paid a visit to TENAA yesterday, and here are all details we know so far about it.

Gizchina News of the week

Xiaomi [Meitu] CC9 (model code M1904F3BT):

  • 6.39″ FHD+ AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint scanner
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC
  • Memory: 4 + 64, 6 + 128 and 8 + 256 GB
  • The main camera of 48 MP
  • 32 MP front camera
  • 3.940 mAh battery
  • MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie
  • Dimensions: 156.8 x 74.5 x 8.67 mm

We expect similar specs coming with the Mi CC9. However, when it comes to the Mi CC9e we expect to see a lesser packed variant to justify the price difference. All three Mi CC9 devices are targeted at younger generations and bring even a new Mimoji to mark the personality of this smartphone series. Along with the two leaked hands-on pictures, the same source also confirmed the arrival of Xiaomi’s Game Turbo 2.0 on all the three handsets.

The cool posters above confirm the presence of Xiaomi’s exclusive game booster feature for the CC smartphone series. The Game Turbo 2.0 was added to MIUI back with the Xiaomi Mi 9 release. Since then, it has made its way to several Xiaomi smartphones, flagships and mid-range devices. The Mi CC9 can’t be considered a flagship smartphone. Instead, it fits on a premium mid-range segment with premium camera features. In addition to the camera exclusive features, Xiaomi will also introduce a solid gaming mode.

As aforementioned, all three devices will be released on July 2. With the launch date drawing near let’s see how many details will pop-out before the time.
