The new details on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8″ (2019) come from WinFuture. According to it, the two variants of the device would be identified by the codes SM-T290 and SM-T295. The tablet should be presented with a 16:10 LCD display with 1,280 x 800-pixel resolution. While under the hood it would integrate an SoC Snapdragon 429 with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores. The internal memory should amount 32 GB but with the option to expand it via microSD.

The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. On the connectivity, we should find a Bluetooth 4.2 module, LTE support (for the version that provides it) and audio jack. The built-in battery would have a capacity of 5,100 mAh.

The tablet would have a thickness of 8mm for about 350 grams of weight. It would come with Android Pie pre-installed, and consequently the new Samsung One UI interface. It will be available in Carbon Black and Silver Gray colors. There is no information on the launch period and price.
