Manufacturers have been quick to identify this and we are seeing more and more smartphones with updated front cameras and even dedicated ‘beautifying’ applications preinstalled!

The creme dela creme of this genre of smartphone is undoubtedly the MeituKiss which boasts dual 8 mega-pixel Sony cameras and dedicated Fujitsu graphics chip so you can be sure your best side looks great on across the 4.5-inch 720p display.
Under the pink hood the MeituKiss runs a 1.2Ghz quad-core MT6589 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM with micro SD card reader, dual-sim support and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Pricing hasn’t been announced however the release date is 16th May.
