Huawei follows the dual-brand strategy for a long time. This simply means it has two brands that fight not only with the rivals but also with each other. Such a competition allows the manufacturer to take a bigger market share and always keep fingers on the pulse. Interestingly, the China-based first-tier company follows this strategy for all niches, including smartphones, laptops, etc. On July 23, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will hold a new product launch conference. At the event, we are expecting to see the Honor 9X. But apart from this, the company will also uncover other flagship products. Among them, we should see the Honor Band 5, Honor Smart Screen, and Honor MagicBook Pro. In fact, all of our assumptions were right. Today, Honor released the MagicBook Pro’s first official poster, saying it will open appointment for this laptop tomorrow.
Gizchina News of the week
Honestly, the Honor MagicBook Pro is not a going to be something new. It should be the replica of the Huawei MateBook X Pro. Thus, we are dealing with a top-end product with outstanding features and design elements.
As for the appearance, the Honor MagicBook Pro is said to sport a 16.1-inch screen with a screen ratio of 90%. The webcam should be hidden in the keyboard. The new laptop will sport two speakers on both sides of the keyboard. And the power button will integrate a fingerprint recognition module.
When it comes to hardware, we still don’t know whether the Honor MagicBook Pro will be packed with the Core i7 chip or not. But one thing has been confirmed long ago – the laptop will sport an Intel i5-8265U and an optional NVIDIA MX250 graphics card. Of course, this notebook will support Huawei’s own Magic Link transmission technology.
