Honor MagicBook Pro Released: The World’s First 16.1″ Full-Screen Laptop


Today, in addition to the Honor 9X series, the new Honor MagicBook Pro was also released. This is the world’s first 16.1-inch full-screen thin and light notebook. It comes with a border-less full-screen, provides smooth and stable performance, and is way thinner than many products on the market.

The Honor MagicBook Pro features a 16.1-inch full-screen with a 100% sRGB wide color gamut. The left and right borders are only 4.9mm. Thus, it is more compact than the mainstream 15.6-inch notebooks. It weighs only 1.7Kg and is 130g lighter than the MacBook Pro.

In terms of performance, the MagicBook Pro highest version is equipped with the 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor, which is 40% better than the 7th generation processor. It is paired with an 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card.

There are 7 temperature sensors built in that monitors the internal temperature of the fuselage in real time. Also, it effectively balances the air volume and reduces fan noise. In the normal use mode, the noise is about 25dB, which is equivalent to the amount of voice in the ear.

The Honor MagicBook Pro i5 version is priced at 5,499 yuan ($799), and the i7 version is priced at 6,199 yuan ($901). They will go on sale on July 29.
