Gizchina News of the week

It is most likely that Honor’s 5G phone will come with Huawei’s 5G multi-mode terminal chip Balong 5000. This is the world’s first single-core multi-mode 5G baseband. It uses the 7nm design process technology and supports 4G, 3G, 2G networks.

According to the official introduction, Balong 5000 is the first to achieve the industry’s benchmark 5G peak download rate. It achieves 4.6Gbps in the sub-6GHz (low-frequency band, 5G main frequency band) band while in the millimeter-wave (high-frequency band, 5G extended band) frequency band it hits 6.5Gbps. This is 10 times the experience rate of 4G LTE. All in all, Honor’s 5G mobile phone is worth looking forward to.
