Last year somewhere around the similar timeframe, Xiaomi introduced its new smart wristwatch dubbed Mi Bunny Watch 2C. As the name suggests, the smartwatch focusses largely on children offering a stylish design with lots of interesting features. Well, it’s that time of the year again and the Chinese smartphone maker has added another smartwatch to its portfolio. This time we’re looking at the next-gen Mi Bunny Watch 3C. Some of the key highlights of the product include AMOLED display, up to 4 days of battery life, AI capabilities, 4G and IPX7 certification.

Coming to the specifications, the Mi Bunny Watch 3C features a 1.3-inch AMOLED display panel with a resolution of 240×240 pixels and 160-degree viewing angle. For an added protection and smoother display, the brand has added a layer of Gorilla Glass and a 2.5D curved glass. To prevent fingerprint smudges, the smartwatch comes with anti-fingerprint oleophobic coating. The wearable makes use of a 4G connectivity on both mobile and Unicom networks which in turns helps in high-definition video calling. For that, the Mi Bunny Watch 3C is equipped with a 2MP enhanced HD camera. It has an aperture of f/2.4 and a wide-angle lens with 84.8-degree field-of-view. All of this is backed by a small 780mAh battery cell that can last for up to 4 days on a single charge. Above all, the battery offers a standby time of 7 days.

Unlike previous-generation, this time the brand decided to integrate an IPX7 water resistance standard. This means that the wearable can withstand heavy slashes and rain. To be precise, the watch can survive the short duration of water immersions with a depth of less than 1m for less than 30 minutes. For connectivity, the smartwatch comes with GPS + Beidou, WiFi, gravity sensing and A-GPS. On top of this, Xiaomi decided to integrate photo scene assisted and indoor positioning allowing parents to locate their child. This tracking feature supports over 4000 shopping malls, railway stations, airports and various other major landmarks in China.
Another key highlight of the product is the XiaoAI smart assistant and its AI capabilities. Using the assistant, the user can control various tasks such as alarm, music playback, answering calls and much more using the voice command. Since the wearable is designed for children, it comes with AI learning capabilities. Children can make use of high-quality learning contents covering pre-school to elementary. Further, the assistant makes it easier for the parent to track the location of the child.
Mi Bunny Watch 3c for Kids: Price in China, Availability
Xiaomi Mi Bunny Watch 3C turns out to be a major upgrade over its predecessor. As expected, the smart wearable will only be up for grabs in China. It is priced at 398 Yuan (roughly 57 USD). The smartwatch will be available for purchase via Mi Mall, Tmall, Jingdong and Suning. Just like its predecessor, the watch will be available in Blue and Pink colour options.
