After a long long wait, there finally appears to be a launch date for the inevitable OnePlus TV, although this is still not an official one. According to an exclusive report by Mysmartprice, the OnePlus TV is likely to launch in the last week of September. More precisely, the source believes it could be on 26th but final dates can still change considering there’s still some time to go. This date is probably for the Indian country which will be one of the first markets to get the new product.
Furthermore, a BIS certification was also spotted in India and it looks like OnePlus TVs won’t be OLED after all. Well, at least not the majority of them. That’s because the supported documents show that the company is using panels from TPV Display Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and this company does not use OLED panels. However, there might still be one OLED variant too, as per the report.
