The phone with a model of V1916A has been officially entered the website of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. If nothing odd happens, this is the much talked VIVO iQOO Pro 5G version.
The new iQOO flagship, known as the ‘5G Performance Flagship’, features a 6.41-inch 1080P waterdrop screen. It also supports screen fingerprint recognition technology. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine a VIVO flagship with no screen fingerprint. Anyway, under the hood, it sports the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor + X50 5G baseband + 8GB / 12GB RAM UFS 3.0 flash memory. The battery capacity is 4500mAh and it supports 44W flash charging. The phone runs on Android 9.0. In addition, the VIVO’s iQOO Pro 5G version also supports dual card dual standby.
On the back, it adopts the triple-camera of 48MP main lens +13MP super wide-angle lens + 2MP depth of field lens. The front-mounted shooter adopts a 12-megapixel sensor.
Gizchina News of the week
Interestingly, it is worth noting that in addition to the VIVO’s iQOO Pro 5G version, there is another 5G new machine with a model name of V1924A. It also supports 44W fast charging like the VIVO iQOO Pro 5G version. However, we still have not got much information concerning this handset.
Earlier, we learned the VIVO’s iQOO Pro 5G version will be officially released in Beijing on August 22. The device is rumored to cost CNY4,498 ($655/€585).
As a reminder, the upcoming VIVO iQOO is going to be the next 5G-enabled to hit the Chinese market. At the moment, there are only two handsets launched for this market, Huawei Mate 20 X (5G) and ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G.
