It’s a little over a year since the Chinese firm introduced the MIUI 10 so the MIUI 11 is due for release. While there isn’t yet a definite date set for the release, the brand’s Product Director and Experience Chief for MIUI has hinted that the MIUI 11 could be arriving in no distant time. Aside from the usual slew of new features, the OS is expected to bring to the table, Xiaomi has hinted that the MIUI 11 is positioned as a “new unique OS” that will primarily address the issue of advertisements.

The ads are not going entirely. Instead, the brand hinted that will introduce Algorithms that can only show ads that are relevant to users’ interests. The number of advertisements will also be reduced so as not to make their presence excessively annoying.
