According to Huawei, the AI framework is development-friendly. Its operation is very efficient and it adapts to every scenario including endpoints, edges, and clouds. Furthermore, there are reports that MindSpore has made significant progress in all three aspects. The MindSpore architecture supports large and small cores and adapts a full deployment of the entire scene. MindSpore achieves cross-scenario collaboration under the premise of ensuring data protection.
MindSpore support processors such as GPUs other than “up” processors. In addition, in order to promote AI applications, Huawei’s full-site AI computing framework (MindSpore) will be open-source in the first quarter of 2020. At the press conference, Xu Zhijun, the chairman of Huawei’s rotating company, said that in the opening of the Huawei full-connect conference 2019, more new AI products will become available. Talking about the company’s AI strategy last year, Xu said: “Huawei’s AI strategy is to invest in basic research and talent development, build a full-stack, all-scenario AI portfolio, and foster an open global ecosystem”.
