Gizchina News of the week
The publication has shared renders of the handset, which we believe is of a dummy device. Nonetheless, these have been handed out to retail stores and are pretty much legit. In that light, the Reno 2Z comes with a pop-up camera but not of the shark-fin type. Instead, it has a regular pop-up module that gives it a full-screen design. Also, there will be an on-screen fingerprint reader and quad-cameras with a gorgeous White-coated chassis.
There’s a lot of information regarding the cameras of this new Reno series. For one, the whole line will have quad-cameras. Latest leaks suggest the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F will have very identical setups. That is a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP + 2MP sensor combo.
The Reno 2 will have a somewhat better quad-setup with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary sensor + 8MP 116-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 13MP telephoto lens + 2MP depth sensor. The launch takes place on August 29th.
