Today was a big day for Honor. It launched a number of new products for different categories. We have already talked about the Honor 20S, the Honor Play 3, and the Honor Band 5 Basketball Edition. But apart from these products, the manufacturer also announced the Honor MagicBook Pro Ruilong version, starting at 4699 yuan ($657).

The laptop uses a 16.1-inch 16:9 Full HD IPS screen. The rest of the display parameters include 100% sRGB wide color gamut and anti-glare professional eye protection. The screen ratio is 90%. Due to the delicate craftsmanship, the MagicBook Pro is as light as 1.7kg and as thin as 16.9mm.

Honor MagicBook Pro Ruilong Version

Under the hood, the Honor MagicBook Pro Ruilong version sports the latest third-generation Athlon processor (Ruilong 5 3550H and Ruilong 7 3750H standard voltage processors). Actually, in comparison to the Intel’s eighth-generation Core processor, the performance is stronger.

In addition, the laptop comes with dual-antenna Gigabit WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint power button, hidden camera, 14-hour battery life, a touch transmission, and other features.

Thanks to the AMD platform, the price of the Honor MagicBook Pro is lower than that of the Intel version. The price of Ruilong 5 8GB + 512GB is 4699 yuan, and the price of Ruilong 5 16GB + 512GB is 5199 yuan ($727). The Ruilong 7 8GB + 512GB is available at 5199 yuan. It will go on sale on September 23.

By the way, the Honor MagicBook Pro has a version with the Linux system. The Ruilong 5 8GB + 512GB is priced at 4,399 yuan ($615), but it is available in limited quantities and will be sold on September 25.

At the end, the company also announced the Intel Core i5 16GB + 512GB version, priced at 6099 yuan ($853), and it will go on sale on September 16.
