Oppo VP teases a new smartphone for later 2019 with upgraded SuperVOOC and 4,000mAh battery

Oppo’s wonderful VOOC charging technology still impress most of technology enthusiasts. However, the company already has something new related to it on its sleeves.  According to Oppo’s Vice President, Brian Shen, there is a new upgraded version of SuperVOOC coming later this year.

Apparently, a new smartphone sporting SuperVOOC charging technology will come later this year and will also feature a 4,000mAh battery. Unfortunately, there are no additional details about this handset at the moment. Of course, it’s a flagship, after all, it will debut new fast-charging tech, it will be a flagship. According to Mr.Shen, the new tech took just a few minutes to charge the battery, although he didn’t mention how many.

The Oppo Find X Lamborghini was another of Oppo’s smartphones to ship with impressive fast-charging capabilities. The VOOC system pushed its 3,400mAh battery from 0% charge to 93% in just 30 minutes. Worth noting that these results were achieved with a 50W charger. According to a number of rumors, the new upgraded SuperVOOC will include an 80W power supply.

There’s a strong chance that this new device is, in fact, the upcoming Oppo Reno flagship. We know that the company is preparing the handset for later this year. It will include SuperVOOC and a brand new 90Hz display.
