Last week, the Chinese manufacturer Oppo has announced its work on a new fast-charging system up to a power of 65W. This new technology will be inaugurated with the Reno Ace smartphone.
Nevertheless, even before the presentation of the next smartphone, Oppo wanted to demonstrate the efficiency – and especially the speed – of this new fast charge. Called “SuperVOOC”, the charge speed was the subject of a video posted on the Chinese social network Weibo. We can discover two smartphones being charged at the same time for 30 minutes. With the charging speed of each indicated on the screen saver.

It takes 10 minutes for the charger to charge the Oppo Reno Ace from 0 to 50%. While with a 20W VOOC 3.0 charger – already supplied with the Oppo Reno – it takes more than thirty minutes to reach this state of charge. Above all, the Oppo SuperVOOC 65W charger allows charging the Oppo Reno Ace in 25 minutes. That’s less than the Oppo Find X released last year that had a charger with a power of 50W. Recall that it took 15 minutes of charge to get the Oppo Find X from 0 to 50% battery.
It is still unclear when the Oppo Reno Ace will be released. The Chinese manufacturer has not yet announced a conference. However, we imagine that the device will be unveiled by the end of the year.
