Chinese phone maker Vivo just unveiled the new V17 Pro in all global markets, with India being the first stop. The smartphone brings the industry’s first 32MP Dual Elevating Front Camera, which is a very interesting upgrade over Vivo’s iconic front lifting camera setup. But that’s not all there’s to it; let’s find out the rest of the specs!
Vivo V17 Pro Officially Launched with 32MP Dual Pop-Up Cameras
The Vivo V17 Pro will be one of the most advanced mid-rangers on the market with its custom made 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullViewTM Display with a ratio of 20:9. The clean display is also designed to hide the Dual Elevating Front Camera, an under display fingerprint scanner, earpiece, light and proximity sensors all inside the phone body.
Plus it features very slim 1.75mm side-bezels, with a 3.8mm bottom bezel. Thanks to these numbers the V17 Pro manages to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 91.64%.
Underneath the elegant body we find a good Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AIE CPU. Along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Multi-Turbo acceleration technology then helps to actively tune the operating system and ensure users can enjoy a much better game performance.
Multi-Turbo integrates the AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Game Turbo, Net Turbo and Cooling Turbo. All these features greatly increase the efficiency of the compiler. It also has a cold start speed that increases 25%, and a warm start speed that increases 9%, ensuring V17 Pro’s system can perform at its best.

The smartphone comes with a total of six cameras
As far as photography is concerned, the Vivo V17 Pro brings a total of 6 shooters. The main attraction is the dual cameras setup at the front we previously mentioned though. The smartphone does indeed feature a main 32MP camera and an 8MP Wide-Angle secondary to camera ensure every detail in any selfie is captured clearly with the former and get 105-degrees ultra wide selfies with the latter. Additionally we find Selfie Softlight that lights up the dark, and Night Selfie feature that smartly combines multiple frames to optimize picture brightness at night.
Moving onto the back we instead have a total of four sensors. Including a main Sony IMX586 48MP sensor and a 13MP camera with telephoto lens. We then have an 8MP camera with ultra wide angle lens which can also be used for macro shots. Finally we find a 2MP sensor to capture depth data.
The Vivo V17 Pro comes with a large 4100mAh capacity battery with support for 18W fast charge; it runs FunTouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. The smartphone will be available in multiple markets internationally in the following weeks. Price and color may vary by region.
