Vivo has been one of the surprise packages when it comes to budget smartphone in the Indian market this year. The handset maker has announced the Vivo U10 which is a very good contender for an entry-level device and will take on the best from Xiaomi and Redmi in its respective segment. The Vivo U10 is part of a completely new series and starts at just Rs. 8,990 ($126) and offers a processor and battery right up there with the standards of Xiaomi and Realme. Design
Coming to looks and design, the Vivo U10 has a flat back and the sides have a slight curve. The triple camera array on the rear is decorated by a copper/gold ring which looks elegant and the fingerprint reader sits in the middle. The front has a waterdrop notch display and the chin is relatively thin.

As for the specifications and components, the Vivo U10 has a 6.35-inch IPS LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1544 pixel and a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. Talking about internals, the handset has a Snapdragon 665 SoC and of course, the 5,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charger.
The rear camera module is composed of a 13-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. The front, on the other hand, has an 8-megapixel sensor. Vivo’s FunTouch OS 9.1 flavoured Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device on first boot.

The Vivo U10 is decorated with a Thunder Black and Electric Blue shade and will be on sale starting September 29. Options are Rs. 8,990 ($126), Rs. 9,990 ($141) and Rs. 10,990 ($155) for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage respectively.
