Google is all set to unveil its next-gen flagship devices dubbed Google Pixel 4 lineup next month. The official launch event called “Made by Google” is scheduled for October 15. The Pixel 4 series will bring radical changes in the design department along with the new advanced facial recognition system. Apart from these, Google Pixel 4 lineup will be the first one to come with motion detection called Soli which will allow users to control the device using hand gestures. Google is calling it “Pixel Motion Sense”.
Well, we are already aware of how the feature will work since the company itself teased the very same feature earlier. Additionally, we are also aware of the possible gestures and settings of the feature thanks to the previous leak. We now have the list of supported apps which will make use of this technology along with the supported countries.
Google Pixel 4 Motion Sense: Supported Countries
With Pixel 4 lineup, we’ll see a smartphone for the first making use of the radar technology for hand gestures. However, the Pixel Motion Sense feature itself might not make it to all the countries. As per the new developments, the feature will hit the limited numbers of countries with limited number of apps to play around with. There is a high chance that Google’s radar technology might need approval from the authorities from the remaining countries. We still have almost half of the month until the official launch. The search engine giant might end up adding a few more countries to the list till then.
Pixel Motion Sense: List of Supported Apps
Apart from the countries, Pixel Motion Sense will also work with a limited number of applications. In fact, Google has whitelisted only 9 applications that will make use of radar technology called Soli. Here is the list of apps that will support this feature:

Surprisingly, Apple Music didn’t make its way to the supported app list. These apps will support the Pixel Motion Sense feature after the official launch of the Pixel 4 lineup. With Pixel Motion Sense, users will be able to skip tracks, play, pause, go back and control the volume using pre-defined hand gestures. Furthermore, the smartphone maker might add more apps in the future.
