The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 that we have heard so much about since early this year just before the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha stole the show is in fact still in the works. We reported earlier last week that the device might be launching soon packing a 108MP camera sensor with a water-fall screen in tow, and now a fresh reveal from China confirms its imminent arrival.

Xiaomi has yet to divulge any details about the Mi Mix 4 yet, but, the device has just surfaced via JD.com listing, but with little or no details. Unlike a number of Jd listing with renders of upcoming devices, the Xiaomi Mi Mix4 listing only has an image placeholder with a subtle hint that it will be launched later in October.

The Mi Mix 4 as per the listing is offered in two variants. There is one with 4G connectivity, and another with support for the blazing 5G network. These variants are powered by Qualcomm’s most recent SoC – the Snapdragon 855+ SoC.

Other details remain largely scarce. However, tipster Ice Universe in a recent Tweet hinted that the Mi Mix will retain the Mi Mix Alpha’s Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP camera sensor. We are not sure the number of camera sensor it will get at the rear panel. Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright HMX is Samsung’s latest flagship camera sensor, and unarguably the most powerful smartphone camera sensor yet. The Mi Mix Alpha already debuted with the sensor, and the Mi Mix 4 could well be Xiaomi’s second device to benefit from the sensor.
