The Moto G series is shaping out to be Motorola’s best selling smartphones. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise if the company decides to follow a more aggressive approach to the timing of the G series. Its only been a couple of months since the Moto G7 arrived, and here we are with news of the imminent launch of the Moto G8 series including the MotoG8 Plus.
An unconfirmed report from Winfuture says the Mot G8 Plus will make its official debut later this month. To be precise, the report says the device will be launched in Brazil on October 24th before making it to Europe in the coming weeks.
Besides the purported launch date, Winfuture also released some official-looking renders coupled with detailed specs of the Moto G8 Plus. And from what we see here, theĀ Moto G8 Plus gets a water-drop notch with a triple-camera setup with laser auto-focus on the rear side. Should these renders be true, it then holds that the Motorola device with a Pop-up camera that surfaced earlier this month is an entirely different Motorola smartphone.

While the leaked images suggest Motorola is retaining the G7 notch design, Ā the rear looks entirely revamped, now with a triple-camera setup in a vertical orientation, different from the circular setup on the G7. The fingerprint scanner sits below the camera set up right within the Motorola Batwing logo.
