Huawei’s Q3 2019 report shows a YoY revenue increase

Today, Huawei released its business performance for the third quarter of 2019. As of Q3 2019, the company achieved sales revenue of 610.8 billion yuan ($86 billion), a year-on-year increase of 24.4%. Huawei’s Q3 2019 report also shows an 8.7% net profit margin.

In the consumer business, the smartphone business maintained steady growth. In the first three quarters, Huawei’s shipments exceed 185 million units, a year-on-year increase of 26%. New businesses such as PC, tablets, smart wear, and smart audio achieved rapid growth. Huawei’s Mobile Services (HMS) ecosystem has developed rapidly, covering more than 170 countries and regions around the world, with more than 1.07 million registered developers worldwide. It is quite interesting to see that Huawei’s smartphone business is still hanging on.

According to Huawei’s Q3 2019 report, the company has signed more than 60 5G commercial contracts with the world’s leading operators. In addition, it has over 400,000 5G Massive MIMO AAUs globally. The production and supply of optical transmission, data communication, and IT are also growing steadily. n the cloud business, Huawei released its overall computing strategy for the first time. The company launched the world’s fastest AI training cluster, Atlas900, and Huawei Cloud AI cluster service.
