Huawei announced in the last week that customers in The Philippines would be able to purchase the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro starting October 28. We’re in October 29 and the flagship smartphones are finally available for pre-orders in the country. The Mate 30 can be pre-ordered for PHP 34,990 ($685) while the Mate 30 Pro will require customers to shell out PHP 50,990 ($999). While the standard variant ships with 8GB RAM and 128GB, the Pro model is available in the 8GB and 256GB storage.
There are some cool offers for users getting the smartphone through the pre-order period. If you order any of the smartphones until November 8, you’ll get free accessories. That includes a Supercharge Wireless Charger and a second Supercharge Wireless Car Charger, both worth PHP 5,580 ($109).

The Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro are flagships with great pedigree. However, they are yet to make way to Western countries. The devices have been released back in September and are currently a big hit in China. Local customers are supporting the company amidst all the recent issues with the US government. The handset is available in the 5G and LTE variants, however, only the 4G unit will reach The Philippines.
The European availability of the Mate 30 duo will greatly depend on the way Huawei will find to bypass the lack of Google Services. While these smartphones ship with Android, they can’t use any of Google Services due to the US ban. Despite this, the brand shipped 200 million devices over a month earlier than last year.
