Hisense are expanding their range of Android phones, STB (set top boxes) and smart TV’s with a couple of great new tablets, the Hisense Sero 7 Lite and Pro with Nexus 7 level hardware!
Hisense have quite a strong line up of Android tablets and smart TV’s here in China, however they are hoping to grab a larger share of the international market with the new Sero 7 range.
Gizchina News of the week
Starting at just $99 the Hisense Sero 7 packs a 7-inch display, Android 4.2 and even a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The Sero 7 Pro which will go on sale for slightly more at $149 will get a 1.3Ghz Tegra 3 chip, 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, Mirco SD card slot, mini HDMI, a couple of cameras and even GPS and NFC!
Both Hisense Sero 7 tablets will go on sale in the U.S later this year!
Thanks to Brian for the tip!

Well, at least with Nexus devices you will receive Android updates – with unsupported Chinese cheap assed devices – highly unlikely.
This isn’t that cheaper than Nexus 7, I’m not sure if the 149$ one is worth it, using the same SoC. The only things it lacks are the connectivity ports and dual cameras.
The 99$ one may be, but the article doesn’t state the true differences between the two of them.
Can this be further clarified?
why this is not being sold in china?
Abbie is it possible for you to do a review of the Pipo M9 and the Onda V973 ? Thankyou
