Realme is busy with the development of ColorOS 7 which will give a new identity for Realme smartphones. Today, the company’s Indian CEO Madhav Seth has shared a couple of screenshots revealing a bit of the new firmware Interface. Moreover, he is calling for owners of the Realme X2 Pro who want to be part of ColorOS 7 beta testing program.
If you want to join the bandwagon, you’ll have to be quick as the trial will be available for a limited number of users. The company published all the details for the beta-testing program on its forums. Take in mind that only 18 lucky Indian owners of the X2 Pro will be selected for the beta program. So if you’re dying for tasting ColorOs 7 in your smartphone, you’ll need to be fast.

The Official Stable Android 10-based ColorOs 7 update will take some time to reach the X2 Pro. According to the company’s official roadmap, the stable firmware will reach everyone by March 2020. When it comes to the beta testing program, it will start simultaneously in India and China on December 18.
ColorOS 7 will also reach several Oppo smartphones, however, Realme states that their branch of the firmware will be slightly different. Oppo’s sister company states that they will have an approach that is closer to stock Android. We can’t say if that is the case just looking at the screenshots. But we can really see some signs of Material Design 2.0 in the quick settings panel.
