We have just one month to go before the end of the year and many companies are busy with the development of smartphones that will go official this month or in January 2020. One of these companies is Oppo which is all set to unveil the Oppo Reno 3 with 5G. Well, that is what suggests the myriad of leaks that have been popping out everywhere in the past few days. Now, a new Oppo smartphone with PCPM00 codename has surfaced in the Chinese regulatory agency, TENAA. We believe that this smartphone might be the highly anticipated Reno 3.
Worth noting that at the time of this writing, only the preliminary specs have surfaced on TENAA. Moreover, it does not include any kind of image. So for now, we will have to deal with our imagination and what Oppo’s officials have presented.
Oppo PCPM00 specifications:
The new handset bears a 6.4-inch display that probably supports FullHD+ resolution. Moreover, it is equipped with 3,935mAh capacity. It will probably be marketed as a “4,000mAh” unit. Moreover, TENAA reveals 160.2 x 73.3 x 7.9mm dimensions. It will also support Dual-Sim functionality. Unfortunately, the other specs are still under wraps. We believe that more details will emerge in the coming day, that’s how TENAA works.
Gizchina News of the week
The reason that makes us believe that this Oppo PCPM00 could be the Oppo Reno 3 is the fact that both of them are expected to come for the Chinese market. Currently, the Reno 3 is Oppo’s most anticipated smartphone since it will be able to surf in the brand new 5G network. Oppo’s VP Brian Shen even revealed a render of the Reno 3 5G.
What we know about the Oppo Reno 3 5G
According to recent reports, the Oppo Reno 3 5G will come with Snapdragon 735 5G chipset which will go official soon. Moreover, it will pack a 4,025mAh battery and will have a punch-hole display serving as a house for the selfie snapper. Perhaps, Reno 3’s minimum rated battery capacity is 3,935mAh, which adds some consistency to our belief. The Reno 3 has a slim-sized chassis with a thickness of only 7.7mm and weighs less than 180g.
Unfortunately, there’s no reference to 5G support in this new TENAA leak. Hopefully, the listing will be updated in the coming days. Only then, we will know if this is, in fact, the next Reno handset.
