Yesterday we brought a report about a new Oppo smartphone that has passed through TENAA. The device in question is the PCPM00 which had just a few details exposed by the Chinese regulatory agency. Despite the lack of information, the battery size and the timing made us think that this could be in fact the Oppo Reno 3. Now, TENAA’s listing has been updated with the remaining specs and design for the aforementioned device and there’s no doubt anymore. It’s the Oppo Reno 3.
Oppo Reno 3 specifications
The Reno 3 boasts an Octa-Core chipset along with 8GB of RAM. These specifications are placed underneath a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display which also hides an in-display fingerprint scanner. There’s a notch up to top serving as a house for the 16MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back we have a 48MP primary sensor coupled with an 8MP and two 2MP sensors.

Moreover, the handset features a volume rocker on the left side. On the left side, we can spot the Power Button with a cool green accent. According to TENAA, the smartphone will come in White and Blue colors. Unfortunately, the device ships with Android 9 Pie, which is underwhelming considering how many time has passed since Android 10’s release. Lastly, but not least, the smartphone draws power from a 3,935 mAh battery.
Along with Reno 3, the company will also unveil the Reno 3 Pro. It will ship with the recently announced Snapdragon 765G, a 4,025mAh battery, curved-edge display and will weight just 180g. The handset be released later this month, but considering the number of leaks emerging, we don’t think there will be much to reveal at the launch date.
