As the most powerful of the two models in the X30 series, its best selling feature is the 13MP periscope camera on the back, paired with a 64MP main lens, another 8MP ultra wide angle camera and a 32MP sensor to snap perfect portraits (2x). This incredible camera setup allows the smartphone to go from a focal range of 16mm (ultra-wide) to 135mm (super telephoto).

Always in the camera department, Vivo also added a Hyper HDR backlighting technology, which is said to be one of the best as far as dynamic range is concerned. This means that even in situations with a very high dynamic range, the Vivo X30 Pro 5G should still produce portrait photos with bright and dark contrasts; along with accurate skin tones.

The second highlight on the X30 series is the screen. The Vivo X30 Pro 5G does indeed adopt the smallest punch-hole diameter in a 5G phone. It’s only 2.98mm, just like the previously launched S5 also from Vivo. Meanwhile other details include a total size of 6.44 inches; a top partial brightness of 1200 nits; a contrast as high as 2,000,000: 1; 2400 × 1080 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Vivo’s flagship phone is powered by the Samsung Exynos 980 chip; which also made its debut on the phone. The chipset supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5G and uses ARM’s latest Cortex A77 architecture ; along with a Mali-G76 GPU. On the vivo X30 Pro 5G we then find a large 4350mAh capacity battery and support for 33W flash charging.

Once again, the smartphone is now available in China for 4298 Yuan ($615), we’re specifically talking about the 8GB / 256GB memory variant.
