Smartphone manufacturing/marketing is becoming hectic for many old-time phone makers. Motorola is one of them. The company has not released a flagship smartphone in over two years. However, it’s going to break the jinx this year at MWC 2020. According to recent reports, the company has confirmed that it will launch a flagship device at MWC 2020. The MWC 2020 event takes place in Barcelona, Spain from February 24th.
Gizchina News of the week
Actually, Lenovo-owned Motorola will release this smartphone on February 23, a day before MWC 2020 commence. The company is already sending out invites to this effect. The last we heard from Motorola with respect to a flagship phone was the Motorola Z2 Force (announced in August 2017).
After that, we had a couple of smartphones and the best of them is probably the 2019 Razr which pitch tent with mid-range devices. As of now, there is no specific information on the device to be released. However, looking at “our crystal ball”, this device could be from the Z series.
Everything seems great for Motorola. The timing of the event is perfect because huge phone makers like Samsung and Huawei will not release any flagship at this event. This means that the Moto new flagship might actually get some attention.
