The handset is now listed on Flipkart which gives us another confirmation on the specs and release date. The iQOO 3 will be India’s first smartphone to come with Snapdragon 865 as well as the first phone on the market to support 5G connectivity. It’s a bit odd to see companies dropping 5G in the Indian market right now, after all, the country is yet to start the implementation of its 5G infrastructure. However, it’s a competitive market, and we can imagine that 5G is something that will make companies stand against the competition there. Although customers won’t be able to enjoy the 5G right now, they’ll probably enjoy the benefits of the most updated hardware. Realme is another company that is soon dropping a 5G smartphone in India.
The iQOO 3 5G will sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and a Quad-camera setup with a main 48MP shooter. The handset draws power from a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast-charging. The new flagship will go official on February 25 in India. However, we believe that more details will keep popping out ahead of the announcement.
