The market of truly wireless headphones is getting increasingly popular by the days. In a hope to cater a slice of this growing market, many companies are launching their champions to dispute customers preference. Honor is the latest company to join the truly wireless headphones gang with the announcement of Honor Magic Earbuds. Worth noting that they aren’t similar with Huawei’s Freebuds. Instead of just making a makeup on an existing product, Honor is coming with a different, new product.
The Honor Magic Earbuds come with a 10mm driver. They work via Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, offer A2DP 1.3 support, HFP 1.6 and AVRCP 1.5. They are powered by a 37mAh battery each and weigh just 5.4 grams. The charging case weighs in at 51 grams and carries a 410mAh battery to charge the earbuds.

Honor states that this amount of juice is enough to provide three and half hours of non-stop music playback. The charging case, however, bumps up the listening time to 13 hours. Speaking of, it takes around 1.5 hours to charge the case over the USB-C connector. Each earbud features three microphones with support for in-call noise cancelling. They filter your voice when you’re talking to someone, but there’s no active noise cancellation while listening a music.
The Magic Earbuds also have a couple of smart features like rapid and instant pairing with devices running EMUI 10. They can play or pause automatically when you take them off or put them on but this feature is also supported only when paired with other EMUI 10 devices. However, touch controls for play, pause, next or previous track, however, work with all smartphones.
The Earbuds will come in Pearl White and Robin Egg Blue. Launch will happen in April with starting prices at €129.
