The Vivo NEX 3S launched back on March 10th is now on presale in China. The smartphone has a starting price of 4,998 yuan($710) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage; with the variant sporting 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage priced at 5,298 yuan ($750). Meanwhile, on March 14th at 10am the device will be officially released into the market. It is worth noting that during the first sale it’s possible to get the NEX 3s in 24 interest-free installments, starting from as low as 6.9 yuan ($0.99) per day.
Vivo NEX 3S Goes on Presale in China
If you didn’t already know, the Vivo NEX 3s is a slightly revamped version of the Vivo NEX 3 launched in September of 2019. The smartphone sports the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship CPU along with a Snapdragon X55 modem; which brings 5G dual-mode connectivity.

Another upgrade over the predecessor is the adoption of LPDDR5 RAM over the older LPDDR4x RAM; while flash memory has been upgraded to UFS3.1; along with support for TurboWrite and HPB technology. These technologies allow the smartphone to increase its sequential read speeds by 137% and increase sequential write speeds by 192% compared to UFS 2.1. As far as amount of RAM and storage, the NEX 3s 5G tops at 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. Finally, talking about fast data, the smartphone also supports Wi-Fi 6 and dual Wi-Fi acceleration technology for an improvement in download speeds of up to 193%.
The Vivo phone also packs a large 6.89-inch E3 Super AMOLED display for a 99.6% screen-to-body ratio. While photography wise, the smartphone comes with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture; paired with a 13MP telephoto lens and a third 13MP ultra wide camera (120 degree field of view).
Finally, the Vivo NEX 3s boasts a good sized 4500mAh capacity battery with support for 44W fast charging. It also still brings a 3.5mm headphone jack along with NFC for electronic payments and whatnot.
$750 or £594.99 bargain for what your getting really compared with price of Samsung & Apple and apparently Huawei think they can sell a Google free P40 in Europe for around €900 madness 🤯
